Farhad Naseh, MD
Dr. Farhad Naseh attended Temple University School of Medicine, where he graduated with honors with an Alpha Cum Laude degree in 1994. He continued his medical training with an internship in General Surgery in Georgetown University Medical School in Washington, D.C. in 1995. He successfully achieved his dream of becoming an Ophthalmologist by completing an Ophthalmology residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York in 2000.

Dr. Naseh was selected as one of America's Top Ophthalmologists by the Consumer's Research Council of America. In addition, Dr. Naseh is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Naseh was involved with extensive research at the NIH in Bethesda during his internship in 1996, in the Department of Ophthalmology.

He has vast experience in treating medical and surgical conditions in Ophthalmology and performed thousands of micro-surgical eye procedures, including advanced cataract surgery, cornea transplants, Lasik, Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK), glaucoma surgeries and retina detachments. He has also performed thousands of laser treatments for diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, retina tears, retina vein occlusions and other eye pathology.

Dr. Farhad Naseh is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York in 2000. After completing his extensive training, Dr. Naseh returned to Washington metropolitan area to establish his private practice in Ophthalmology. Dr. Naseh has established a reputation as a knowledgeable clinician and a compassionate surgeon. He often says: "Surgery is my passion and my primary goal is to enhance the vision, well-being and self-confidence of my patients."

Her special interest is in refractive/cataract surgery, oculoplastics and the treatment and prevention of macular degeneration.






Hamoon Eshraghi, MD

Dr. Hamoon Eshraghi, a New Jersey native, recently joined the Maryland Eye Institute. He obtained his undergraduate degree in international relations and economics from Brown University. He completed his medical school at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He then finished three years of ophthalmology training at Rutgers NJMS in Newark, NJ.

Dr. Eshraghi is a board-certified surgeon specializing in anterior segment surgery, including cataract surgery, glaucoma procedures, diabetic eye disease, and dry eye management. In his spare time, Dr. Eshraghi enjoys playing soccer, basketball, hiking, traveling, and cooking. He is fluent in English and Persian and has conversational skills in French and Spanish.
